We are getting excited for our fifth year of doing this CrossFit competition!!! We had a huge turn out the last four years and we can not wait for this year! Air Force has won 3 years in a row and Navy won Last year! The competition will be held Friday evening and Saturday day. The competitions is coming up soon so register as soon as possible for the early registration price!
This competition is open to anyone and everyone, however we are trying to see who is the best of the best out of fire. police, army, air force, marines, navy, and coast guard! Day one is the first 2 events of a 5 event competition and day 2 is to see who the winners are is full of bragging rights. You DO NOT have to be in the military, fire, or police department to compete, we just ask that you choose one to represent the day of the competition. This is an individuals competition only.
The registration price for the competition is $100. Super early bird registration is $60+ tax per athlete which opens May 14th and ends Thursday May 31st. That's a $40 saving so jump on it as soon as you can. The early bird registration fee will run from June 1st-June 30th which is $70, early registration fee (July 1st-14th is $80), and after that you have from July 15th-24th to register for the competition. That price will be the full $100. When you show up the day of the competition we will be asked for your ticket number (which you receive once registration is purchased) and you will receive a FREE shirt and a goodie bag!
A portion of all the profits will be donated to an amazing organization called Children of the Fallen Patriots. They are a non profit organization that give kids college scholarships who have lost a parent while serving our country. For more information please click the link. http://www.fallenpatriots.org
There will be individual prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division. We have 3 levels: Scaled, RX, and Fire breather. There will also be prizes for the branch or department that wins.
Here are examples of which division you should put yourself in: the weight is something you should feel comfortable doing thrusters/cleans/jerks/squat snatches for lots of reps.
Scaled: jumping pull-ups (95M/65W)
RX: chin over the bar pull-ups (135M/95W)
RX+: chest to bar pull-ups (155M/135W)
